Small Nugget of Truth

My friend is a kindergarten teacher and told me this little nugget of knowledge that I want to share with you all. It was a lesson the guidance counselor gave to the kids about fairness.

Equity does not always equal fairness. If someone has scratch on their arm it would be equitable to give them a bandaid to help heal it. If the second person has a stomach ache to keep all things equitable, we should give them a bandaid as well. If the last person has a broken leg again to be equitable, we must give them a bandaid as well.

But did the last two did not receive fair treatment.

I see this going on in America today. We try to treat every situation the same but they are not.

Remember that even God has different calling for people that have different weights here on earth.

God is good y’all!
